Lots of rust on the frame and suspension

2464

One of the downsides of cleaning the MGB GT is that everything looks a lot worse once you remove the grime. The undercarriage has cleaned up really well but there is a lack of paint and rustproofing on much of the frame and the suspension components. Fortunately this is all surface rust and when I redo the suspension, steering rack and other areas I’ll clean this up and apply some paint. I know some folks are powder coating suspension components but I expect this is an expensive proposition, may look into it.
