I know that the weather in England can be a little cold but wouldn’t you think that if you had shitty weather you would leave your new Lotus Esprit in the garage? Apparently this gal has better ideas. Dress the part and head out for a spin.
Perhaps this photo was actually shot in Russia where this might be the warmest day of the summer! Either way our young lass doesn’t look overly happy.

It’s a press photograph of the car taken outside a golf club in England actually, in August 1976.
It’s the first Esprit that came off the production line – chassis No. 0100G.
This is the car in exactly the same spot 40 years on from the original picture.
