Box of Peter Dawson Scotch on the rack of a 67 MG MGB Roadster

We all know that racks were an option on our MG cars but this ad courtesy of Peter Dawson Scotch proves that spending the cash for the unsightly rack was money well spent. If we didn’t have the rack we might have to drink all of the scotch before leaving our guests house. That wouldn’t be good and besides, we wouldn’t have any for tomorrow morning. Fortunately we bought the rack and have space. Not enough room for our gal and a box of scotch? Decisions have to be made.

Drink up, drive happy and as they say in MG land, SAFETY FAST!, just don’t be crazy.

And…. who is Peter Dawson?
