Cars I have owned or would like to own

I briefly went to the Vancouver Island Motor Gathering yesterday and wandered around looking at over 600 vehicles ranging from MGB’s to the latest supercars. The event was held at the new Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit, an impressive new facility close to where I live.

There weren’t many MGB’s around, in fact only 3 that I saw. Two of these were MGB GT’s, the red 1967 MGB GT behind the 1963 Caterham 7 very similar to mine.

I have always wanted a Lotus Europa and here’s a very original 1970 Europa still owned by the original buyer. Looking closely at these old Lotus cars and you sure wonder about the fit and finish but I could certainly see one of these in my life at some point. Donations please!

Having owned a BMW 2002 I still enjoy looking at them. This mid 70’s version is pretty much identical to the one I owned except for the colour. The futuristic BMW i8 next to it is certainly the modern hi-tech hybrid showcasing BMW’s new technologies. Very cool!

A pretty orange McLaren 570s. Now this would be fun. I’m not sure if I would be willing to sell my house to buy one however.

McLaren 570s. Yes please, I'll have one in orange.

Affordable Ferrari’s? You bet! I finally found something I could possible afford. I just wish someone hadn’t parked that huge Ferrari 308 behind it.
