Cleaning the 1967 MGB GT grill

Now since the MG has been put away for the winter I’ve started disassembling different areas to give them a good cleaning and repair or repaint if necessary. A few items were removed previously. The original grill was removed a while back when I decided to refinish the Lucas horns and clean up the engine compartment. This GT grill definitely shows its’ age with a few dings, lots of grunge, some rust and some cracking on the very cool MG emblem. There is lots of overspray form the 1998 repaint as well. I may look around for a used clean emblem but they are getting hard to find. The reproductions just don’t look as good, very typical of what’s available now.
