Cleaning up the MGB GT engine bay

When the weather has been cooperating (not too cold) I’ve been heading down to the barn and prepping the MGB engine bay for painting. Presently I’m removing the brake lines and smaller items like the regulator. The heater box will come out although it’s one of those jobs I’m not looking forward to. Apparently the only thing worse than pulling the heater box is getting it back in! Perhaps I’ll attempt to paint it in place, not the perfect method but likely would work.

A few before images of the crud. It could be worse and at least the rust is limited to the surface.
