Fortunately for me I’ve never had the chance to race cars competitively. This has likely saved me hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years, maybe even my marriage. Still, every once in a while I get the crazy idea of taking my 1967 MGB GT and making it a little faster, handle better and perhaps, take it for a spin in anger.
What concerns me most about this crazy idea is that racing drivers are very popular people. Can you imagine getting prepared for the 12 Hours of Sebring and having women crawling all over your car like the poor Alfa driver below? He does seem happy however, maybe this is the lucky driver’s pit crew and they are discussing strategy.
On the other hand, this may just be a strategy to distract the other drivers in the event. I wish the guy success either way. What year is this and is it Sebring? Any ideas?
