Iver Johnson Revolvers are not toys

A strange vintage ad that I stumbled across. Can you imaging something like this running in a magazine now? Iver Johnson Revolvers are not toys: they shoot straight and kill. What a great gun to leave with your young daughter so she can protect herself and her doll. But the ad says “Papa says it won’t hurt us” so it must be safe I guess. Another WTF moment, times have changed.

Remember, accidental discharge is impossible and it’s only $6.
