James Bond Lotus Esprit Turbo

James Bond had his MG MGB but the MGB was certainly getting dated by the late 70’s. At the same time, Lotus was bringing out their Esprit line that would change the look of supercars for years to come.

In 1977 the James Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me featured the Lotus Esprit Turbo and the world noticed. And so typical Bond, we have a gorgeous gal in a bikini posing with the car. Were these good movies or did we just love the idea of being a secret agent hanging out with ultra sexy Bond girls? That could be me you know.

Either way, I’ve wanted a Lotus Esprit since I first saw one in the 70’s. On my wish list!
