I test fitted the Moss ST Spoiler in March 2017, that seems like a long time ago.
I painted the spoiler body colour, or at least as close as the primitive body paint shop could get but it is a little too light. Most people won’t notice. So here it is almost 3 years later and I finally installed the spoiler on my MGB GT. It turned out to be more difficult than I expected.
I’ll have to remove the air dam again before finalizing the installation and will photograph my method at that time. In a nutshell, I made an aluminum adapter plate that runs the full length of the attachment area and the spoiler bolts to this aluminum plate rather than the MG itself. This has made for a far more secure attachment to the car.
I’m not crazy about the look of the bumper overriders so may clean up the front by removing the. What do you think?
