It’s good to see that old batteries didn’t last very long. These days I’m always impressed when I get about 5 years out of a car battery and feel very fortunate when I get 2 1/2 years from my lawn tractor batteries. I run a 6 volt battery system (wired for 12 volts) on my boat and those batteries are now 7 years old and still working well.
The original MGB batteries lasted a little over 2 1/2 years before calling it quits. The replacement cost was $15.65 each plus $1.72 tax for a total of $33.02. Check it out, no environmental and recycling taxes!
