New MGB parts are here

Spring is coming and in anticipation of getting the GT running well and fixing lots of minor problems I ordered a selection of parts from Moss Motors. Not all the small parts I need but enough to give me a start on the process.

My Moss Motors box has arrived and it’s full of awesome pieces. New 3 point seat belts, steering rack boots, rubber bits to replace those that have cracked over the years and much more.

At this point I’m concentrating on fixing problems before they get worse and making an attempt to make the MG a little safer.

This small box will keep me occupied for a large amount of time. Before I install the rack seal set I need to clean and finish the steering rack completely as it’s been ugly for a few years. The splash panel seals can go on after the front fenders are properly de-rusted and undercoated again. Lots to do, not enough time. At least a few parts will go on quickly like the shift boot.

What I didn’t buy but still require are new suspension bushings, some of the rubber door trim and of course a few of the interior door handles that constantly break. Has anyone found door handles that don’t break? The list is endless, does it ever stop?

Anyway, can’t wait to get home and get to work.
