Saab Gripen jet scale model disintegrates

What a bummer. I have been watching videos like this for years and have always been amazed at how much money and time many Europeans put into scale model aircraft. This 8 meter long Saab Gripen jet model disintegrates after a few passes. The owner doesn’t look very happy! I bet his wife isn’t happy either after not seeing her husband for the past 4 years that it likely took him to build it.

What really amazes me is that some of these model aircraft are almost large enough to really fly, you could almost fit your kid in this one. I wonder where they draw the line.
