Time to install the exhaust on my MGB GT

I’m getting very close to being able to start the MGB GT for the first time in 3 years. As much as I would like to put a new stainless steel exhaust system on the car I’m going to install the old ratty exhaust system instead. It’s in good shape having been installed only about 4,000 miles ago… in February 2003.

The undercarriage of the MG looks like new with freshly painted suspension, new undercoating and numerous other new goodies so the exhaust will look out of place but fortunately not very many people will be under the car. I’ll likely get carried away and at least try to polish the pipes. I will buy a new stainless exhaust tip however.
