Ugly car of the week – Eklers Corvette edition

This isn’t the first Corvette that’s been featured in our ugly car of the almost week series and likely won’t be the last. Let’s face it, almost any 1970’s Corvette is pretty ugly even without modifications. Here’s the other eyesore we featured. Perhaps these two cars were bought by the same person?

This is a really cool 1970 custom Eklers Corvette. The body is really good and done very well. Has the tilt nose, the wide body kit, the wagon conversion, the rear bumper 6 tail light and the rear spoiler. All parts are form the Eklers catalog and was put together in the 80s. The gentleman that was building the car got sick and never finished it so it has been sitting for awhile. The frame and birdcage are very solid with no rust at all. The rear end is a all aluminum Dana 44 with the fiberglass leaf spring. The engine is a CLA suffix with is a 1977 Corvette 350 that ran very good. The transmission is a 350 turbo automatic. The interior is good and bad, dash looks good the door panels are nice, the drivers side seat needs redone and needs carpet. The car has power steering power brakes and power windows. This car does not run right now. Most of the parts are just bolted loosely so show what is here. I do have a gas tank from a 70s Camaro to fit between the frame rails.if you have any questions please email me or you can call me XXXXXXXXXX thank you happy bidding.

SOLD for $4,417 after 86 bids… amazing!
