I try to add colourful and fun content to my web site on a regular basis but when I went to the front page today all I saw was grey above the fold. How boring, my apologies. I guess car restoration isn’t very colourful unless you’re having fun paint the engine or shocks a fun colour.

I have a few choices to brighten things up a little. I could do my usual colourful vintage ad, generally with a women and a car. I could put a colourful yellow Lotus Europa photograph highlighting the bright orange rear shocks with yellow springs that I installed a few months ago, or I could celebrate summer and show you what our garden looks like. Let’s go for the garden and concentrate on flowers. I’ll get to the others later.
Yeah, I should know what the real names of these flowers are and I should know the Latin names. That’s my wife’s department, I might add them later.

The red barn in the background is where my MGB lived for almost 11 years and where I did most of the restoration. There’s no heat!

I think it’s a Jack Manny clematis that’s hanging on the pergola where we hide on hot days while gardening.

One of the prettiest flower beds we have this time of year.

More flowers.
