If you are looking for a very nice original 1967 MGB GT this might be your car. Check it out on Bring a Trailer. It will be interesting to see what it sells for in 1 week.
Apparently the car had a repaint in about 1992 and it looks in good shape except for a few bubble in the rear hatch. The chrome is a little pitted, just like my 1967 MGB GT. A little character. Being an early 1967 it has the clear front turn signals. very cool. I think the black exterior with red interior looks great although might be a little hot in Florida or Texas.
The early 1967 MGB GTs didn’t have back-up lights either. Who needs to see when you’re backing up anyway?
Apparently the interior is original including the carpets. That’s really hard to believe but at the same time if the car was pampered most of its life and kept indoors good things happen.
About the only area I don’t like is under the hood. This looks very similar to the engine bay of my MGB GT when I started restoring it but is a surprisingly easy fix. I pulled my engine, painted the engine compartment, painted the engine and all parts and put it all back together. Parts are readily available.
The video of the engine running sounds good and it has good oil pressure. What do you think?
