Winter is over in MGB GT land

Finally winter is over here in Western Canada. This means I can once again get to work on my MGB GT. I expect I’ll have her running in about a month. The front suspension is ready to install, engine is finished and the bulk of the components are on the car already.

I have been a little distracted since my purchase of a 1970 Lotus Europa S2. The Lotus has become my main driving car the past 6 months and being 49 years old took a lot more time to fine tune than I expected. It’s running beautifully now and just completed a 800 mile road trip to Portland and back.

I’m wondering which car will be my preference once I have the MGB running. They certainly are different sports cars, hopefully I’ll have time for both.

If you’re into Lotus Europas check out my sister site at lotus-heritage.com. Same sort of content including the girls.
